“A good stance and posture reflect a proper state of mind.”
- Morihei Ueshiba
A good stance can reflect many things including confidence, strength, purpose, and presence. It showcases a connection between mind and body. But a “good stance” is not simply an issue of posture and stability – the word “good” itself merits exploration and how goodness impacts what a proper state of mind should be.
Achieving a good stance takes training. It is our aim to provide opportunities for youth to develop a good stance and proper state of mind for personal development and human betterment.
We are currently in a transition period as we move from having direct Aikido programming to explore new ways to support youth in developing with Aikido. Please join our mailing list or contact us to be updated as we share updates.
